Region Radio Program on KUMR 26 May
Fort Leonard Wood, MO – May 18, 2006 ---- On Friday, May 26, at 8:10am, Public Radio, KUMR, will feature a radio program about the Fort Leonard Wood Region. The program is called ‘Round the Region. Ron Selfors and Steve Tupper will co-host. The program will look at the many facets of economic development in the three-county region. Steve promises to keep the program as light as possible, “Economic development is sometimes as dry as burnt toast. We’ll try to keep it interesting.”
KUMR is at 88.5 on the FM dial in the Rolla, St. Robert and Waynesville area, and at 96.3 in the Lebanon area. It can also be heard on-line at www.kumr.org.
Missouri’s Fort Leonard Wood Region is a not-for-profit association which promotes economic and community development in the Fort Leonard Wood Region. The region extends along the I-44 Technology Corridor from Lebanon to Rolla/St. James. It includes the three counties of Laclede, Pulaski and Phelps. Its membership includes cities, county, school districts, utility companies, businesses and other associations.
